Australian Apprenticeship Support Services

The Australian Apprenticeship Support Services will support new apprentices of all backgrounds in beginning their careers and maintaining their apprenticeships while working with employers to find great people for their businesses.

Geared2Drive offers support for individuals aiming to acquire their driver's licence. This program provides guidance, resources, and lessons to assist participants in obtaining their driver's licence, increasing independence and access to employment opportunities.

Independent Housing Solutions

We offer young people aged 17-25 years who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness a safe, affordable and supportive housing option while they work towards moving into independent housing.

Our Integrated Housing Exits program helps young people to successfully transition from South Australia’s youth training centres into independent housing. This program is funded by the South Australian Department of Human Services.

Navigator Program

The Navigator Service provides one-on-one support following a person’s release from prison. Delivered by SYC, Navigator works with individuals for 12 weeks after they are released from custody and supports them in reintegrating into the community.

RentRight SA’s housing advice and advocacy service is a free, independent service, helping people sustain their tenancies in private rental, community housing, rooming houses or public housing.

The Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program provides free training in reading, writing, English language, mathematics, and digital skills. This program is proudly offered in the Murray and South East Region of South Australia and is funded by the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.
