Meet Dylan, SYC’s Alternative Learning Program Manager. Dylan and the Alternative Learning Team work with our students to foster individualised learning experiences, promoting resilience and student engagement.
Working with new schools in all regions has been a highlight of Dylan’s work at SYC, “creating strong and sustainable partnerships has resulted in more referrals, allowing us to create further opportunities for young people” – Dylan.
SYC has recently expanded its alternative learning service in the Northern region with the opening of the Education and Training Hub in February 2024. Similar to SYC’s Studio West and East model, the hub will deliver an ACARA and SACE-based learning program focusing on students' character strengths, personal values, and individual learning styles.
