At SYC, we believe apprenticeships are a powerful pathway to a fulfilling career. This National Apprenticeship Week Australia, we’re celebrating apprentices who are gaining the skills and experience they need to thrive in their careers.
Meet Landon, a First Nations student at Marree Aboriginal School, who has just started his school-based Engineering apprenticeship with Roxby Hydraulics. While completing Year 12, Landon will be learning valuable trade skills and gaining hands-on experience that will set him up for long-term success. He is excited to take this next step into employment, building a strong foundation for his future career.
Last week, our Apprenticeship Field Officer, Bronwyn, visited Marree to support Landon and the Roxby Hydraulics team in setting him up for success. This visit is one example of how our team works closely with apprentices, schools, and employers to ensure every placement starts on the right foot.
