Celebrating 15 Years of Service: Courtney’s Journey at SYC

We are proud to celebrate Courtney, our Apprenticeship Support Officer, as she marks 15 years with SYC!

Courtney’s journey with SYC began in 2009 as an Employment Officer. Over the years, she quickly progressed through roles as an Employment Consultant, Team Leader and Site Manager, working at various SYC sites, including Woodville, Adelaide, Torrensville, Marion, Christies Beach, and Goolwa. After taking parental leave in 2023, Courtney returned part-time as an Apprenticeship Support Officer with SYC's Australian Apprenticeship Support Services, where she continues to help individuals achieve their apprenticeship goals.

"It’s a great feeling knowing that the work we do can make such a positive impact on someone’s life."

Courtney is driven by the opportunity to create lasting change.

“I love seeing a past participant or employer, even from 10+ years ago, still remembering the help you gave them,” she says.

Her passion for making a difference has been evident in every role she’s taken on. Courtney’s commitment goes beyond her day to day work, she has been a key figure in helping people overcome challenges and reach new milestones. Her journey at SYC reflects her relentless belief in the potential of every individual she supports.

As we celebrate Courtney’s 15 years of service, we’re reminded of the lasting difference she’s made, not only at SYC but in the lives of the many individuals she's supported along the way.
