SYC was proud to be a Supporting Partner of the 2024 Apprentice Employment Network SA (AENSA) Annual Conference, held on Thursday, 21st November, at the Pullman Adelaide. This year’s event brought together industry leaders, educators, and professionals, all united by their shared commitment to advancing apprenticeships and traineeships across South Australia.
The conference featured a range of inspiring speakers, including Cameron Baker, South Australian Skills Commissioner, and Dianne Dayhew, CEO of the National Apprentice Employment Network, among others. Their insightful presentations addressed key challenges and opportunities within the apprenticeship sector and sparked discussions on how to better support South Australians as they enter the workforce.
As an Apprentice Connect Australia Provider, we’re dedicated to helping individuals gain the skills and experience needed to complete their apprenticeship or traineeship and thrive in their chosen industries. The AENSA conference was a powerful reminder of why this work matters.
As long time advocates for employment and training, our team was proud to contribute to an event that is shaping the future of apprenticeships in South Australia. Beyond the engaging presentations, the conference provided invaluable networking opportunities, allowing us to strengthen existing relationships and make new connections with partners who share our commitment to empowering people through apprenticeships and traineeships.
The conference additonally gave us the chance to explore new ideas and discuss how we can collectively improve and expand opportunities for apprentices and trainees. We look forward to continuing working alongside AENSA and other key stakeholders to create more pathways for people to gain meaningful employment.
A huge thank you to all the speakers, attendees, and partners who made the 2024 AENSA Annual Conference such a memorable experience.
We’re excited about the future and the opportunities ahead for the apprenticeship and traineeship sector in South Australia.
