Guiding the future of homelessness services in South Australia through a lived experience lens. We are committed to amplifying and strengthening the voices of those with lived experience, ensuring they are central to the design and delivery of services.
Supported by the Government of South Australia.
LEES can provide specialist lived experience advice and mentoring to workers within SA’s Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS), supporting you to better understand and respond to the needs of people with lived and living experience of homelessness. Lived Experience Framework
The Lived Experience Framework was co-designed in partnership with members of the housing and homelessness sector and with people who have lived and living experience of homelessness and housing insecurity in South Australia.
The Framework is intended to guide homelessness services across South Australia in embedding lived and living experience into policy development, service design, and delivery ensuring that the voices of those with direct experience are central to shaping meaningful and lasting change.
LEES can provide guidance and is currently developing a range of resources to support the implementation of the Lived Experience Framework across the homelessness sector.
Please take a moment to read the Lived Experience Framework by clicking here.
LEES collaborates with the Department of Human Services (DHS) and SA’s SHS to lead projects that actively engage people with lived experience of homelessness. These initiatives ensure that lived experience perspectives are central to driving meaningful change, while also generating valuable insights that inform and enhance policies, practices, and service models across the homelessness sector.
