Get Into was designed by the Princes Trust International to give young people a foot in the door with industries that need staff.
Get Into maximises direct employment outcomes for participants. Employers are involved in the development and delivery of training and commit to employing a number of the young people who complete the program. Those who don’t gain employment with the host organisation are supported by SYC to transfer their new skills and experience to another relevant employer.
Two out of three young people who completed a Get Into program in 2017 achieved direct employment. Over 80 percent of participants reported increased confidence, job search skills, ability to work with others, and ability to set and achieve goals.
