Our Alternative Learning Services are currently provided under the Flexible Learning Options (FLO) program, funded by the Department of Education and Child Development (DECD). The FLO program is designed to assist young people who have disengaged from mainstream school by providing a flexible, more individual approach to their learning. After more than a decade of providing FLO services to young people, HYPA has used that experience to design alternative learning programs for groups of students who still require a different learning approach to mainstream school, but are happy to learn in a group setting.
We have been an Alternative Learning Services provider for over a decade. We’ve helped more than 2,000 young people return to school, re-engage with learning, transition to further education or employment and access appropriate support services.
