We are seeking a Full Time Transition to Work Manager in Strathpine to lead and manage the delivery of the Transition to Work (TtW) services!

Within our organisation, our Transition to Work service helps young people who are 15 to 24 years of age to develop skills and confidence to make the move from high school to training, employment or further education.

Duties of the successful applicant include:

As a Transition to Work Manager you will lead and proactively manage the day-to-day operations of the Transition to Work (TtW) program to ensure all areas of responsibility deliver effective services to appropriate clients and that contract and/or funding requirements are fully met.

Duties include:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of cost-effective service delivery to young people
  • Work collaboratively with other Ttw and employment services manager to maximise the performance and formulate strategies
  • Monitor the effectiveness of TtW processes and work practices
  • Provide effective leadership and management to employees.

Qualifications and Experience include:

  • Proven experience to lead a team and work in a collaborative team environment
  • Well-developed ability to provide leadership and to inspire others to share ownership for achieving objectives and creating a stable and productive work environment.
  • Have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including report writing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to apply conflict resolution and negotiation strategies to solve problems
  • Must have a current and valid driver’s licence and your own registered vehicle with a 4 or 5 star ANCAP safety rating.

Remuneration

A competitive salary will be negotiated depending on the skills and experience of the candidate. SYC is a not-for-profit organisation, we offer salary packaging benefits up to $15,900 tax free.
