Can you help support a young person on their path to success?

Fundraisers can be as big or as small as you like – but every bit goes towards helping young people have a brighter, more independent future!

  • Fundraising Ideas

    Host a Morning Tea

One of the easiest ways to get people involved and have fun fundraising, is to host a morning tea in your workplace or community group. Ask everyone to bring a plate to share and a donation. You could also do some small games or competitions like raffle off a hamper or run a lucky square competition.

Casual Day, Crazy Hair, Theme Dress or Silly sock day

A simple way to raise funds and awareness – and great for social media pics. Wear something different for the day and bring a gold coin donation.

    Office Raffle

Sell raffle tickets around the office for the prizes people really want. Maybe it’s a day off work (or an early minute on Friday), a premium parking spot for a week, lunch with CEO or a round of coffees! Make the prize something everyone will want and the tickets will sell themselves.

    Minute to Win it

Do a quick Google Search for these easy games that require no expensive props, or special talents and run to a one minute timer. Most require easily available office supplies, and are a lot of fun. Ask for a gold coin donation to register.

    Office Bingo

Look up cards of common things that happen in an office – or make your own. A fun way to lighten up a meeting or a big project.

    Money war

Have you got some strategists around? Assign different areas of the business a day, week or month and have them compete over who can raise the most money!

    Other office activities

A gold coin donation entry to these activities is an easy way to get people engaged:

    • Scavenger Hunt
    • Board Game Tournament
    • Cook-off
    • BBQ Lunch
    • Electronic Game Tournament (Like Wii Sports, Xbox or even Snake)

    Hold a Garage Sale

Get a few friends together and sell off things you don’t need anymore. Donate a portion of the funds to HYPA or add a donation box to the table. There’s a handy donation box flyer in your Fundraising Pack.

    Run a Collection Drive

This is a great way that anyone can support HYPA. Put up posters in your school, workplace or community space and have people donate items. Your Fundraising Pack contains our most current wish list, guidelines and even a poster you can print!

    Join a Community Event

Why not fundraise for HYPA through getting a team involved in the City-Bay or the True Grit Challenge? Even a dog walk or sandcastle competition is a fundraiser waiting to happen. There are lots of ways what you can challenge yourself, have  fun as a team and raise awareness for young people in need.
