We received over $60,000 worth of support from our community and corporate partners which will enable us to provide an extra level of support to young people experiencing homelessness this winter.

Thanks to Harvey Norman, Sleepmaker and AH Beard, we received an amazing donation of 12 beds and bedding packages. This allows us to offer a high standard of dignity and care to some of our most vulnerable young people.

We had multiple community groups participate in collection drives and fundraising events to provide blankets, sleeping bags and food items. Our HYPA Breakfast Club and Youth Space is now well stocked with 200+ serves of breakfast foods and  85 frozen meals to provide hot nutritious meals to those seeking crisis services. A big thanks goes to Brighton Secondary School, Temple Christian College Paralowie, Adelaide University Rotaract Club, Influencers Church and Influencers Young Adults for their support.

The appeal also allowed us to increase our footprint in the community through our campaign on Nova 919. We focused on raising awareness for the rate of young people experiencing homelessness in South Australia. Appeal ambassador Shane Lowe helped us to spread the word and called on his fans to show their support. A number of donations were made to support our transitional, affordable housing program, HYPA Housing.

Thank you to everyone who supported the appeal even in a small way. The generosity of our community allows us to provide a level of responsiveness in service deliver, not otherwise afforded by our government contracts.
