Service to Youth Council Gala Ball
At SYC we believe every child deserves to have a safe place to live and since 1958 we have worked to help young people to live safely.
With South Australia experiencing huge prosperity through low unemployment it is easy to overlook the young people who are missing out in our community.
Did you know that more than 2,000 children aged 12 - 18 will be homeless in South Australia on any one night?
Did you know that girls between 15 – 19 years of age are the greatest users of supported accommodation?
Our Gala Ball is a way of helping SYC to continue its vital work in the community. It is also a great way to acknowledge the people who work tirelessly to help out most valuable, yet vulnerable South Australians.
The SYC Gala Ball promises to be a fun night with Guy Sebastian and the Smarty Boys entertaining us as we raise funds to support affordable housing for young people.
